First of all, apologies for the lack of Round 4 previews.
Round 4 was interesting with Mitch's Mongrels taking on and beating the form team of the FFL, The All Stars. This was a great match with the two heavyweights of the competition, at the moment, going tete a tete until the final bodyblow was struck by The Mongrels ruckman Sandy Lands.
In other matches, Swami Sensation were sensationally beaten by a formerly non sensational Rock For Cash. Are the Cash lads back? Time will tell but Rock has been saved from the sack again with a win or two.
The Kelpies outstayed a poor performing Lifers team, The Village Idiots, whilst gallant, were outclassed by Tom Dogs and Away FC recorded their first win against a pathetic Kostusthegame.
Round five action sees the following matches:
Kostusthegame v Swami Sensation
The Gia Brothers face off for the first time this season in what promises to be an interesting game.
Prediction: Swami Sensation will be way too good.
Away FC v All Stars
The All Stars will be licking their wounds after falling short in round four. Away FC managed a decent effort and bagged their first win of 2014.
Prediction: All Stars, by heaps.
Rock For Cash v Village Idiots
The Cash lads will be looking for three on the spin and what better way to do so than against the Toopy Bye.
Prediction: Rock For Cash by a lot!
Mitch's Mongrels v The Kelpies
The Mongrels have bared their teeth in the last few rounds and the teams they have played against have tasted the bad mongrels breath and subsequently been beaten. The Kelpies have been solid without looking spectacular. Can The Kelpies forwards kick some goals?
Prediction: Mitch's Mongrels, just but a Kelpies win would not surprise.
Tom Dogs v Such Is Life
The Tom Dogs have surprised some this season and they have put some decent scores on the board. Such Is Life, after a bright start have fallen back somewhat but they surely can bounce back.
Prediction: Tom Dogs in a close match.
